Good tires are a critical piece of safety gear for a car. Make sure you keep good tires on your vehicle especially during winter months or when you would be driving in wet or snowy conditions. I upgraded the tires on my Toyota Sienna all wheel drive mini van that we use for our ski transportation vehicle up canyon roads in the winter time. These Cross Climate 2 tires made by Michelin get excellent ratings on Consumer Reports as well as The Tire Rack. I was seriously contemplating buying a set of winter tires this year because we drive up the canyon several times per week to take my son to his ski team practice at the local ski resort-we need high performance winter tires. However after looking over ratings by Consumer Reports and elsewhere I discovered that these Cross Climate 2 tires that are all season tires perform just as good as winter tires in the snow and better than winter tires at wet braking and better tread life than winter tires plus they would not have to be stored in the summer and would therefore save me money in the long run. I'm excited to try these out. I have actually passed up more capable looking SUV's on snowy roads in my minivan while driving up to ski resorts (even with my old tires). I will give them a try and let you know in a future video how they perform for me.
