It is always a big question in case of any rotary engine car that "What about the remaining lifetime = compression?" Measuring of this mystic number is not so tricky but does it matter what you use for such a test?
I tried to compare the Rotary Compression Tester (RCT-V5) with the Digital Compression Tester (DCT-500) and with my own DIY compression tester based on arduino pro mini project.
I would say, if you measure for yourself and you can deal with some level of inaccuracy (can be also noticed with other measurement tools), go for a DIY project and be proud that you made a tool for yourself what you can use to check your rotary engine's compression...
