Britney Spears Could Still Pay CHILD SUPPORT to Ex Kevin Federline After Jayden Turns 18
Britney Spears may still be required to pay child support to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, even after their younger son, Jayden James, turns 18. According to California law, child support typically ends when a child reaches adulthood at 18. However, if the child has not yet graduated high school, payments can continue until they do, or until the child turns 19, whichever comes first.
In Jayden’s case, his 18th birthday in September 2024 does not mark the end of Britney’s financial obligations because he is expected to graduate in November. Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, confirmed this, explaining that Spears will continue making payments until Jayden completes his high school education.
Although child support will soon end for Britney’s older son, Sean Preston, who turns 19 in September, the payments for Jayden will extend into late 2024 due to his school schedule.
