Finally got a SOLAS NEW Saturn 4 prop that gives at least a couple more inches of skinny to this monster of a skiff and no better place to test it out is on the skinny closed out sandy point cut. This tiny route on the north side is the only remaining slot to get the shallowest of vessels through from the typical Bottle Creek run. Otherwise you get to run around Point of Rocks and that always has some sloppy chop, low viz, and coral heads...
ENJOY!!!
Despite possible appearances, no seagrass (or any other wildlife for that matter) was harmed during the filming of this video. With extensive local knowledge of back country tide lags and through meticulous rigging and trim adjustments, these vessels provide excellent access to the backcountry as they can clear 6" running and float in less. As you can notice this capability is done at the expense of ride quality but, provides access to locations few other boats afford.
