Geddes, N.Y.-- The governor tried a Gianelli sausage, then took the inaugural ride on the Broadway Skyliner with as he kicked off the beginning of the first day of the New York State Fair Wednesday.
As rides finished tweaks and inspections, more and more came online, the Dairy Bar began flowing the white and chocolate streams of 25-cent milk and a pleasantly cool day greeted the first fair goers to take it all in.
