In this scene, The Osmonds have arrived at the airport on the mainland and Donny and Marie run into some fans of theirs including Charlie who graciously explains to Marie that the little children of his church wanted to send him on a trip to Hawaii and when they found out Charlie and the Osmonds were to be on the same flight that is how Marie gets herself and Donny involved with these criminals, when Charlie gives her the necklace. On the airplane Tricia surprises Donny by taking a seat right across from Donny and Marie then Marie starts to tease Donny about Tricia, she quotes"If you like I can have the Captain announce your engagement right now." Donny only smiles. Meanwhile the men to whom want the necklace start to make plans of stealing it from the Osmonds after Webster discovers that Charlie had given Marie the necklace to get him off the case. (Too funny!)
