In this episode, Shion and Allen introduce themselves to Matthews, who asks Shion to direct her thanks to chaos for rescuing them. chaos is more than happy to have been of help. Shion then gets snippy at KOS-MOS for going on her own. When she asks what were the orders assigned to her from Vector HQ, KOS-MOS changes the subject and asks Matthews if she can rest.

Cherenkov requests that he be dropped off at Senir, and Matthews agrees...when a Gnosis attacks!

The Golem intrudes the ship and gets a hold of Cherenkov, but chaos is all "Meh" and gets rid of it easily. Shion is stunned, but chaos gives her a calm reassurance.
