In this short video preview, we’ll be taking you through the neurovasculature of the upper arm - otherwise known as, simply, “the arm”. Towards this, we’ll be covering the arteries, veins and nerves of this structure. Starting with arteries, the first ones are the subclavian, the axillary and brachial arteries. We’re also going to talk about the deep brachial artery, the ulnar and radial arteries, the anterior and posterior humeral circumflex arteries, the circumflex scapular, and also the ulnar and radial collateral arteries.
Later in the tutorial, we also cover the different veins, which include the subclavian, the axillary and the brachial vein. In addition, we also cover the basilic and the cephalic veins.
Finally, we’ll explore the nervous supply of the shoulder and upper arm. This consists of the nerves coming from the brachial plexus and the branches we find there.
