The Kia EV6 is one of the most impressive electric cars on sale at the moment. Closely related to the retro-themed Hyundai Ioniq 5, the EV6 favours a more modern and sporty look. With only a 77kWh battery option to choose, every model promises a range of 300 miles or more, and when you need to recharge it’s one of the fastest-charging EVs available - as long as you can find a charger powerful enough. Kia has tuned the EV6 to feel a little more sporty than the Hyundai, which some buyers are sure to like. It’s not as practical as the Ioniq 5, though, and its price puts it at the higher end of Kia’s line-up. Should the EV6 be your electric car of choice? Nicola puts it to the test.
