Here is a look at two vintage Sony 8mm video8 camcorders. The Sony CCDTR7 (1990) and the Sony CCDTR 33 (1995) Both video8 standard models. I personally prefer the Sony CCDTR7 because of it if I stereo and manual zoom and focus capability’s. Unfortunately bad capacitors has caused the Sony CCDTR7 to malfunction by not having a stable video output or sound to be recorded onto the tape and viewfinder has a vertical line running through all caused by pissy capacitors. I will eventually like to get the CCDTR7 fixed and so if anybody out there wants to recap this for me I will be willing to spend a decent amount of money as long as it can be successfully be repaired. The Sony CCDTR 33 still works perfectly.
