I've been trying for weeks to get the new feature that allows you to transfer footage from your GoPro to your iPad directly over USB-C.
Turns out, the problem was trying to use the media mod to make the transfer.
Here are the steps from GoPro (they didn't mention NOT using the media mod which was why I struggled for weeks).
If you have an iPad with a Lightning connector, I recommend you use Apple's Lightning to USB-C adapter (of course it's also the most expensive...)
Steps:
Turn on the GoPro Camera.
(Only HERO9 Black) Put camera USB Connection into [GoPro Connect].
Swipe down on the back LCD screen.
Swipe right and tap [Connections].
Open [USB Connection] and select [GoPro Connect].
Connect the USB-C to the camera before connecting anything to your iPad/iPhone.
iPhone or iPad with a Lightning port: Connect the USB-A to your adapter, then connect the adapter to your iPad/iPhone. The only adapter currently supported is Apple's Lightning to USB Adapter.
iPad with USB-C port: Connect the other end of USB-C to the iPad and you are good to go.
When I said at the end of the video to enable 5G, I was referring to if you are not using a direct USB connection and are instead transferring over Wi-Fi.
It goes without saying that a comment and subscription would be appreciated...and be sure to "destroy" that like button, as the kids say...
