At least eight people have reportedly lost their lives in bomb explosions at two different locations in Gwoza town, Borno State. News Central's Umaru Kirawa reports that armed forces have taken over the major streets of Gwoza to ensure the safety of the populace. The first bomb exploded around 4 pm on Saturday at Bakin Mararba near the central market area, and the second explosion occurred at Hausari during funeral prayers. A young girl was arrested at General Hospital Gwoza while attempting to detonate another bomb.
