Riesling is the most prestigious grape variety in Alsace, a region where 90% of wine produced is white. It makes up two-fifths of the vineyards at Kientzheim-based organic wine-grower Domaine Paul Blanck. Frédéric Blanck, who's been in charge of the vines and cellar here since the mid-1980s, talks to CellarHand's Ed Merrison about what makes Alsace Riesling so appealing.
