The Consumer Technology Association announced the awards on Thursday …ahead of CES 2020 in January.
Samsung received top innovation awards in the TV, audio and mobile categories, …winning the top award for the ninth straight year in the TV sector.
It was also recognized for its technology and design in the TV, audio, monitor, household appliances, mobile devices and semiconductor categories.
Korea's LG Electronics won 16 awards, …including another Best of Innovation Award for its OLED TV technology.
This marks the eighth consecutive year that LG has received awards for its TVs, home appliances and mobile devices.
