I’m here in Houston today.
We're here in Times Square.
Since the RF environment has gotten more crowded over the last year, space is becoming a premium.
And we’re seeing a lot more efficiency with the digital systems.
We need to see how many channels of premium wireless we can get on the air. Let’s start with our own Shure UHF-R.
We’re kinda maxing out at about 24, 25 channels.
It's looking around 10.
Well, in this scenario, I can only get three.
Let’s try a premium digital solution. Let’s go over here and let’s add some Shure Axient Digital.
Wow. Already 12 channels we can configure here.
We’re getting about 64, 65 channels, which is way past what we were getting with our analog system.
Workbench is quickly and easily able to find 120 channels.
We might be able to do some other manipulation to get some more frequencies out of it, because we’re in standard mode. We could go to High Density mode.
High Density mode will gets us even more frequencies. Let's see what we can do in HD mode.
Wow. In HD mode, we're getting 97 in the same amount of spectrum.
So, it’s really easy to see the premium benefits of good digital wireless. It’s all within that spectral efficiency.
