Wondering what are the best places to visit and things to do in Pattaya? You are in the right place. I traveled in Pattaya for 3 days and here's all the details.
➡️ Walking Street Pattaya
Stretching up to a kilometer, Walking Street is one of the best party places to visit in Pattaya, attracting nightlife enthusiasts. Beginning at Beach Road and ending at Bali Hai Plaza, the Walking Street offers various entertainment and leisure options.
➡️ The Sanctuary of the Truth
Built entirely of wood and showcasing Thai architectural design, the Sanctuary of Truth is one of the top heritage places to visit in Pattaya. The 105-meter-tall Sanctuary of Truth was built to pay homage to the age-old philosophies and religions.
➡️ Big Buddha Temple
Flaunting magnificent architecture and design, the Big Buddha Temple is one of the top holy places to visit in Pattaya. It has a large Buddha idol 12 meters tall and golden in color. The temple is located on a small island 3 km off the coast of Thailand.
➡️ Jomtien Beach
Sprawled across a stunning 6 Km long coastline and flanked by breathtaking pine groves, Jomtien Beach is one of the best Pattaya tourist places to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Jomtien Beach is where you can laze around and sunbathe to get a charming tan on your body.
➡️ Pattaya Beach
One of the most famous places to visit in Pattaya, the picturesque Pattaya Beach attracts many tourists worldwide. This leading beach destination offers beach lovers a chance to indulge in thrilling water activities, including ski-boarding, snorkeling, wakeboarding, windsurfing, parasailing, speed boating, diving, and jet skiing.
➡️ Night Markets
Also known as Kankhena Thepprasit Market, it t is one of the famous local markets. This market's shops are all housed beneath a metal shelter. The street is best known for its diverse selection of street food.
The Pattaya Night Bazaar is one of Pattaya's largest night markets. It is home to over 250 stalls selling jewelry, clothing, luggage, shoes, and small Thai souvenirs.
➡️ Pattaya City View Point
One of the most-visited sightseeing places in Pattaya, the Pattaya View Point is a small, breathtakingly beautiful hill spot. It is located on the Pratumnak hill on Pattaya's southern outskirts. The place offers a view of the lovely city of Pattaya.
➡️ Phra Tamnak Mountain Viewpoint
Located close to Bali Hai Cape, this is undoubtedly Pattaya’s most impressive scenic viewpoint. Set atop a hill between South Pattaya and Jomtien, Phra Tamnak is situated on land belonging to the Royal Thai Navy and is home to Wat Khao Phrabat Temple, the resting place of the Buddha’s footprint.
➡️ Khao Chi Chan Buddha
This mount, which features the outline of a Buddha image engraved into the rock face using lasers, was created in tribute to King Rama IX on the 50th anniversary of his ascension to the throne.
➡️ Bangsaen Beach
Bang Saen Beach is approximately 14 km from Amphoe Muang, Chon Buri. To get there, take Sukhumvit Road, turn right at km.104, and continue for 3 km. The beach is a popular tourist attraction for Thai people.
Located in the Saen Suk subdistrict, Bang Saen has been a popular tourist destination for decades now. The Beachfront Road has restaurants, accommodation, inflatables for hire, and showering facilities. On public holidays, the beach comes to life, bustling with tourists from nearby towns and cities who have flocked to the coast to enjoy the sun, sea, and sand.
➡️ Grand Canyon Chonburi
Grand Canyon Chonburi is an excellent place, and it is a nice short sightseeing where you can sit and enjoy this beautiful view without any noise. Grand Canyon is one of the hidden attractions near Bangkok, and it’s worth photos. This place must never be missed.
Chonburi is a city on the eastern side of Bangkok, about an hour away, and it’s a trendy spot for local Thai people to get away compared to Pattaya, and the city is buzzing on the weekend. Chonburi has many excellent coffee shops and beaches and is known for its Grand Canyon outside the city.
➡️ Pattaya Floating Market
Pattaya Floating Market, which opened in 2008, is one of the most popular Pattaya tourist places. It is a beautiful place with a touch of ancient markets along the river. The riverside market may also assist you in your search for small authentic souvenirs, as the community living along the river has its own distinct way of life as well as the items that they create.
