We love love love apple nachos in my house. I always make sure to have enough for myself and the kids. Don’t be boring and bite into a plain ol’ apple. Not only is this fun to eat, but the toppings make this apple a lot more filling. That’s what you want for your afternoon snack. Try it this way and thank me later!

1 Apple of choice, I used Granny Smith
Runny nut butter, I used almond
Honey or date syrup
Mini chocolate chips
Other topping ideas- pomegranate arils, diced mango, chopped nuts, cocao nibs, shredded coconut…
Slice Apple very thinly. Lay out onto a plate and drizzle over the nut butter and honey or date syrup, if using. You can sprinkle with mini dark chocolate chips or melt them in a bag and drizzle over as well. After those go crazy and add any of the other topping ideas I shared above.
