Confidence is the ground upon which you are willing to make decisions or not unless you understand what confidence really is. When you were a child and you saw other people walking around on their hind legs, you saw them doing something you wanted to know how to do, but you didn’t know how to do. Then you were in an environment where someone encouraged you to take those first faltering steps. As you took those steps, you fell down, but then got back up again. You did that over and over again until you built up the strength in your legs, your coordination, motor skills, and confidence to be able to walk. In the absence of being able to do something, you kept doing that because those around you believed that you could do it yourself.

Everyone feels a lack of confidence when they are feeling something new. You want to make friends with that part of you that feels insecure because you know that you are on the edge of learning. As you take part in taking steps to learn, you will find that your confidence grows.
