In this video I will show you how to turn your non deductible mortgage into a tax deductible mortgage through the Smith Maneuver.
By implementing the Smith Maneuver you will be able to save massive amounts of interest on your property. Every dollar you put into your principal you can take right back out and invest. You pay a small amount of interest on the loan while investing at a high rate of return. Come tax time you put your earnings into an RRSP. Ideally you get a refund and chunk that money down on your house and then borrow again. You rinse and repeat to pay off your mortgage early, build your investment portfolio, put money towards your RRSP and the interest on your home equity line of credit is tax deductible!
