The Union Budget 2023 was released in Parliament, and the Government of India would place a renewed emphasis on health, education, and skilling, according to Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister for Finance, Government of India. "In the last nine years, the Indian economy has grown from tenth to fifth largest in the world, we have made great progress in many SDGs, the economy has become much more structured, and efficient plan execution has resulted in inclusive development," Sitharaman added. In her speech, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman remarked, "157 new nursing colleges will be constructed in collaboration with the existing 157 medical colleges established since 2014." A national digital library for children and adolescents will be established to facilitate the availability of quality books across geographies, languages, and genres. Listen In!
