Hi friends!🌞 So excited to share these 6 vegan warm drinks, perfect for the fall weather!☕️ I love sipping one something cozy, delicious and nourishing in the morning to start my day off right, I hope you enjoy as well!
Mulled Apple cider:
5 cups apple cider
1 small orange - sliced ( I snacked on the end pieces so feel free to do that too lol )
1/2" fresh ginger - roughly chopped in small pieces
4 - 6 all spice berries
1 cinnamon stick
- Place all ingredients in a small pot over low heat and allow to very lightly simmer / steam for 40-60 minutes
- the orange might let off some pulp, if that bothers you, strain threw a very fine mesh strainer
Hot Chocolate:
35-40g dark chocolate ( I used 85% )
1 1/2 cups oat milk ( unsweetened )
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 - 2 tbsp maple syrup
- heat milk on the stove until stream starts to come off it
- chop chocolate roughly into small pieces then throw into the milk along with vanilla and maple syrup. Whisk well until all chocolate in melted into the milk
- feel free with add a tsp of lions mane or turkey tail mushroom, reishi or ashwagandha for a nourishing element!
Pumpkin spice latte
3/4 cup worth of strong coffee ( feel free to use espresso and make extra pumpkin spice milk
1-2 cup to 3/4 cup oat milk
2 tbsp pumpkin purée
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp clove
1-3 tbsp maple syrup ( depends your sweetness preference )
- make coffee and then put all other ingredients together in a small pot over low-medium heat, whisk well
- pour coffee in your mug, froth your milk then pour over your coffee
Matcha Lavender Latte:
1 cup oat milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tbsp lavender flower
2 tbsp maple syrup ( depending your sweetness preference )
1 heaping tsp matcha
1/4 cup water
- place milk, vanilla, lavender and maple syrup in a small pot over low heat and allow to very lightly simmer / steam for about 10-15 minutes
- add matcha and hot water to you mug and whisk together well. Pour your milk through a fine mesh strainer over your matcha and enjoy!
Salted Maca Caramel Hot Chocolate:
1 cup oat milk
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 heaping tsp maca
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tbsp date syrup ( depending your sweetness preference ) - this is what adds the caramel vibe to the drink so feel free to add lots!
pinch of pink salt
- add all ingredients to a small pot and place over low-medium heat until hot. Froth your drink and serve
Golden Milk:
1 can coconut milk
1/2 cup - 1 cup water
1/2" fresh ginger ( roughly chopped )
1 cinnamon stick
2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp black pepper ( about )
1/4 tsp vanilla
maple syrup to taste
add all ingredients ( except maple syrup ) to a small pot and heat on low heat for 10 - 50 minutes. Don't boil, just bring to a light simmer!
- add maple syrup in individually mugs and serve!
