Instant Pot Refried Beans! (The #1 reason to buy an Instant Pot)
I LOVE refried beans. But storebought ones are a little pricey, and they come in such small cans. My Instant Pot Refried Beans method is so easy and you end up with a decent-sized batch. The recipe for Instant Pot Refried Beans is simple:
2 cups pinto beans
4 cups water
1 tsp oil
1 onion
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp ground cumin
Cook on high pressure for 1hr and 10 minutes and allow the pressure to release slowly.
Enjoy your refried beans all week long from the fridge, or freeze them for your future bean needs. Put them in tacos, burritos, quesadillas, or spread onto a cheesy beany melty sandwich.
