1993 Toyota Soarer 1 of 1 Custom Build
Available now recently imported from Japan is the wildest Toyota Soarer build we have ever seen. A $150k build and personal car in Japan to ST. Rowdy who has built the best drag cars in Japan this was an open checkbook crazy build that will likely never be replicated. Starting with the nicest Soarer he could find immaculate black paint and mint interior he decided to go crazy with it. Body is extremely clean paint was just paint corrected and ceramic coated giving a deep black shine and wet appearance while also having hydrophobic qualities and protection. Headlights are immaculate with HID projectors, fog lights and even a strobe light led strip controlled by the one of the 4 switches in the center console. Rear tail lights are immaculate no cracks or spider webbing and below also have a LED strip strobe controlled by the same switch in cabin. Sitting on genuine BBS LM wheels 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear wrapped in older Dunlop Direzza tires. Behind the wheels front brakes have been upgraded to 2 piece rotors from a Lexus LS460 while the rear has been upgraded from a JZA80 Supra. Suspension has been upgraded to Apexi coil overs with air struts mounted on top which give you 3 levels of height adjustability at the control of the key chain. OEM hood has been changed to a ultra rare SEIBON carbon fiber one which is fitted with hood pins. The front spoiler is WISE Square brand and looks very aggressive.
Make your way to the interior and you immediately notice the flawless condition overall. The door cards are immaculate, the seats have been changed to dual Recaro Sportsters. Both seats have Sabelt 4 point safety harnesses. Factory steering wheel was upgraded to a MOMO LUCE wheel with pop up hub. Factory cluster was replaced with a Defi super sports cluster with a custom carbon mount/surround. To the left of the cluster is a shift position indicator which shows what gear you are in. Furthermore, over the ac vents is a Link monitor for the link ECU which displays live data while the car is running. Although you see all these mods and monitors the car still has ice cold AC. A double din radio replaces the factory radio however for the radio frequency for united states you would need a radio with US frequency. A padded 6 point roll cage was added for more rigidity in the chassis and better handling characteristics. The center console has 4 switches one for AC Compressor, 1 for line lock, 1 for strobe LEDs front and rear and 1 for blue neon under glow. Battery has been relocated to the trunk with a electric cut off. Trunk has air compressor tank for the suspension mounted on the right side.
Pop open the hood and you see basically a show car engine bay. The 1UZ V8 4.0 L has been fitted with a Toda racing 1 off 8 trumpet independent throttle bodies. The engine was fitted with a GREX oil filter relocation kit. Countless AN fittings to ensure no leaks. A large oversized aluminum radiator has been fitted to keep temperatures cool. The engine is paired to a 6 speed sequential OS Giken BNR34 GTR transmission. Clutch is easy to work it is a OS Giken carbon twin disc clutch. When clutch is pressed in you can hear it rattle. The transmission is very easy to operate, the car can be driven like a normal manual transmission and doesn't necessarily need to be driven all out wide open throttle if you opt to daily drive it. Rear end was replaced with OS Giken Limited Slip Differential. Exhaust is custom made straight pipe with titanium and rounded like trumpets and creates a very exotic exhaust note.
