Collision Prevention Assist is a feature of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, or ADAS. In the event of near or actual collision, this system will require a reset or replacement of the control module. Both of these procedures will require SCN coding and calibration.
Fault codes will be stored and can be used to determine if a reset or replacement is needed.
If the vehicle has the following fault codes, you can reset the module using SCN coding and calibration.
-C10C700 - The radar sensor is maladjusted
-C10C709 - There is a component fault
-C10C756 - An incorrect or incompatible configuration was detected
-P061000 - The coding of the control unit is incorrect
-P164400 - An incorrect variant coding or configuration was detected
-P164455 - The component is not configured.
-P164456 - An incorrect or incompatible configuration was detected
-U042300 - Implausible data were received from the instrument cluster
-U042700 - Implausible data were received from the electronic ignition lock
-U0427FA - Implausible data were received from the electronic ignition
If the vehicle has the following fault codes, you will need to replace the control module.
-C10C709 - There is a component fault
-C10C7FB - The control unit collision prevention assist has a malfunction
If the vehicle has the following fault codes, you will need to check for a software update.
-B220600 - The current vehicle identification number is incorrect or not present
-C10C776 - The assembly position is incorrect
-U104388 - Communication with the peripheral CAN bus has a malfunction. BUS OFF
