The goal of the season is to either earn enough social credit to retire or die trying. To raise the stakes, I'm playing with Permadeath on, and the city only changes when a detective finally makes it to retirement. ABOUT Shadows of Doubt: Shadows of Doubt is a procedurally generated sandbox detective game featuring deep detective gameplay mechanics, survival mechanics, and immersive cities that feel lived in. Developed by ColePowered Games and published by Fireshine Games Shadows takes place in an alternate history 1980s western nation. As a citizen of the dystopian and authoritian corporatocracy known as the United Atlantic States, the player takes the role of a private detective, and works to solve various cases around his or her city. The ultimate goal of the game is to reach retirement by completing cases to improve his or her social credit score.
