Operation Mycoprotein
Quorn Hunt - Newnham Paddox - Saturday 12th September
Ollie Finnegan hunting an Atherstone Hunt Meet? No its not 2013, Finnegan is now huntsman of the Quorn Hunt who have taken over the Atherstone Hunt and are looking to use the Atherstone area to hunt on Saturdays. They met at Countess Suzy Denbigh's Newnham Paddox in Monks Kirby. Denbigh is a former Atherstone rider who abandoned her former hunt and jumped ship to the Quorn the moment it looked like her former hunt was in trouble. In fact we don’t remember seeing her once during our six yer campaign when the Atherstone needed her most. There were a few other old Atherstone riders present including Sarah Evans who had a huge portion of humble pie having no choice but to ride with Quorn Huntsman Olie Finnegan who she famously booted out of his house along with his pregnant wife when he was the huntsman of the Atherstone Hunt.
With no social distancing, no face masks and over six riders covid is clearly a high priority. Hunt supporters refused to give us their details for our track and trace program whilst another Quorn supporter Lewis Palmer claimed to have Covid and then coughed in the face of one of our sabs.
