Sherri Goodman and Peter Davies with Wilson Center’s Polar Initiative designed the Inclusive Planning for Arctic Futures: Demonstrating a Scenario-based Table-top Exercise presented on 5 September at the Arctic Futures 2050 conference in Washington, DC. The scenario explored the information that would be needed to respond to a nuclear ship accident in the Bering Strait. After the session, Goodman and Davies interviewed Jennifer Francis Senior Scientist, Woods Hole Research Center / Co-lead SEARCH Sea Ice Action Team.
