Popular Marathi actress Priya Berde, the wife of late acclaimed actor Laxmikant Berde, was recently molested in a theatre in Mumbai. One person has been arrested in the case.
According to reports, Priya was watching a film at a theatre located in Mira road when a person seating behind her tried to molest and thrash her. He kept bothering her even after repeated warnings.
Priya complained to the theatre authorities who then handed over the accused to the police.
According to police, the accused Sunil Jaani was in inebriated state at the time and was troubling the actress.
This comes at a time when popular Malayalam actress Dileep is facing interrogation for plotting the rape of a peer actress.
