Here's how I like to make Cantonese style ginger scallion crab using a dungeness crab that I caught near San Francisco, California during the crab dungeness crab fishing season for 2020.
Ingredients:
• 1 dungeness crab
• 3 to 4 cloves of garlic
• A piece of ginger about 2 to 3 inches long
• 3 stalks of green onion
• Cooking oil (I prefer olive oil and coconut oil because they're healthier)
• ~1 tbsp of butter
• A dash of salt
• ~1 tbsp of mirin
• ~2 tbsp of soy sauce
• ~1 tbsp of garlic chili sauce (You can add more if you like it spicier)
• ~⅓ cup of chicken broth or water
