Responding to former Twitter boss Jack Dorsey's claim that he received requests from the Indian government to block accounts covering the 2020-21 farmers' protests, Elon Musk said on Tuesday (local time) the social media giant did not have a choice but to obey the local laws formulated by governments, else they would be shut down.
In an exclusive interview with India Today, the Twitter owner said even though it had to comply with regulations imposed by the Indian government, it would always strive to ensure that users continue to have a platform where they can freely express their opinions.
