I decided to start looking at refurbishing the Land Rover Series 2a tanks, starting off with the Series 2a stock tank and later the Series 1 tank that will be my aux tank. This will be a multi part series as I go into detail (as usual) with how I do this. Note that the second part will look at the removal of the base plate as I decided to go with doing this as a full job rather than part refurb.
