Iranian petrochemical workers have gone on strike to join the nationwide uprising against the Iranian government.
Workers in the Bushehr province were recorded leaving work, setting tires on fire, blocking the road from security forces, and chanting: “Death to Khamenei.”
Iran has been facing unrest since the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in the custody of the country’s “morality police” for “improperly wearing the hijab”.
Rights groups say 185 people have been killed in a crackdown on the protests.
