As we mark the 22nd anniversary of 9/11, Executive Editor of the Common Sense Society, Christopher Bedford joins to share his thoughts and reflections on 9/11. Bedford tells us whether he thinks the US is a safer place today in terms of protecting against terrorism and ensuring that a 9/11 attack never happens again. Recently, the mastermind behind 9/11, Khalid Sheikh Mohammad and 4 other Gitmo detainees put demands in front of Joe Biden and his administration. Bedford discusses this story. President Biden is the first president not to attend a 9/11 memorial site in New York, Pennsylvania or Virginia. Bedford explains what he makes of him stopping off in Alaska to mark the occasion rather than leaving the G20 earlier and finding himself at one of the more traditional locations. He fills us in on any final thoughts on this somber anniversary.
