Rupa Choudhury is the first Swiggy female delivery personnel and Ola Bike-taxi driver. She became the very first delivery girl for Swiggy in Kolkata when she was hired. When she joined Ola as a bike-taxi driver, she again made history as the first woman to do so in Kolkata. Needing to support her family, she had to wear the hat that no one else had tried to before. Rupa has inspired the app based food company to hire more women as delivery person. Swiggy has recently announced plans to employ 2000 women as delivery personnel by this year.
