The PS2 version is the better version. It features a solid frame rate with normal mapping which gives the illusion of 2D objects being three dimensional. Theres also depth of field with 16:9 support but doesn't have progressive scan, so you're stuck with the picture being interlaced. Now, the Xbox version, has progressive scan and more lighting effects with a rich and deep color palette. The Xbox seems to have a clearer picture with lesser jaggies around objects and characters but misses a lot of effects that the PS2 has.
