In cooperation with the GER Mandolin Orchestra project:
On 09.30.2011 , the school in the town of Łąkie, Poland (Lipka Gmina. 350 km north west of Warsaw) was renamed after Janusz Korczak.
As part of the inauguration ceremony, the town`s mandolin orchestra , Frygi , directed by Mr. Gortat Stanislaw, performed the `Shalom Aleichem`(arranged for mandolin by Mr. David Grisman) a flagship tune from the repertoire of the Ger Mandolin Orchestra , Mr. Mike Marshall -musical director.
