Hong Kong is one of my favorite cities and it also happens to have one of the most interesting and unique red light districts in the world. Come explore it together with me!
Most of the red light district in Hong Kong happens in these 141 (one-for-one) walk-up buildings like the famous "Fuji building" in Causeway Bay. Prostitution is technically legal, but only if the girls are working on their own. No brothels or other similar establishments exist. So, these walk-ups are able to circumvent the law by having each girl work in a 1 bedroom apartment by herself.
The 141 walk-ups are very cool to experience in person. They're covered with neon lighting and feel very cyberpunk. Even if you're not interested in prostitution, it's still worth checking out as a tourist.
This had to be edited to be YT appropriate. Full video will be released on other channels. You know where to find it!
Apologies for video quality in this one. I hope it's still enjoyable.
