Swami Kriyananda encourages us to be equitable and loving in all of our relationships both positive and challenging. He shares his personal experience of rising to meet this test and receiving a surprising blessing as a result. Kriyananda says that we live not for approval and acceptance from others – we live for God. Peace is a domain that we can have and access from within.
It is good to seek quiet places and surround ourselves with positive people whenever possible but in many circumstances, it is just not possible. It is however possible for us to find happiness no matter where we are. Kriyananda reminds us that, “Your body is your temple, your heart is your hermitage.”
