Chris Sacca is co-founder and partner at Lowercarbon Capital and Chairman of Lowercase Capital, where, alongside his wife Crystal, he led investments in early-stage technologies including Twitter and Instagram. At Lowercarbon, Chris leads a science and investing team pursuing cutting-edge solutions to the climate crisis across the realms of energy, building materials, transportation, food, industrial chemicals, and reforestation. Before setting out as an investor, Chris served as Head of Special Initiatives at Google, Inc, where he co-led a variety of major acquisitions and projects and was responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars and euros worth of domestic and international governmental joint ventures in some of the tech industry's early clean energy initiatives. Chris served as Co-Chair of National Finance and as a Trustee of the Presidential Inaugural Committee during President Obama's 2008 presidential campaign, and continued his work in a variety of capacities during the Obama/Biden reelection campaign in 2012. In 2015, he joined the cast of Shark Tank for two Emmy Award-winning seasons, and has starred as himself on the ABC series Alex, Inc. and on Showtime's Billions.
