Pressure Gauge Venting (aka Burping) - [ Ссылка ]
It is common for gauges to be off zero due to build-up of case pressure.
In many cases the simple fix is to alleviate the case pressure by venting the gauge, which is also known as “burping” the gauge. This can be done by lifting, rotating the lever or removing the fill plug to equalize pressure between the case and atmosphere.
Most often this occurs in pressure gauges with a range of 100 psi or less.
The vent can be left open for constant pressure equalization, but this could lead to foreign debris entering the gauge such as dust and moisture. Additionally, if it’s a liquid filled gauge the liquid could leak.
