The invasion of Poland lasted within only 35 days from 1 September 1939 - 6 October 1939. This is the very first pre-blitzkrieg strategical warfare that Nazi Germany implemented during World War II. Having materials superiority and effective battleplans, Nazi Germany had accomplished a lightning victory over Poland that had shocked the allied and its enemies.
