2025 Kia EV5 Review - The Best Electric Car of Tomorrow!
Kia's new EV5 electric compact SUV shares a name and a design language with the company's larger EV9 electric crossover. Kia has announced that the EV5 will be available in China, South Korea, Canada, and Mexico, but it won't be coming to the U.S. market because of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which changed the incentives for selling electric vehicles in the country. The EV5 shares the same fast-charging, 800-volt electrical design as Kia's other new EV vehicles. Kia may offer both single- and dual-motor variants, as well as regular and extended-range battery packs. Almost everything inside is a screen, thanks to the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, the 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, and the 5.0-inch climate control touchscreen. We observed a model with a second row that folded down into a little bed during Kia's EV Day event in Seoul, South Korea. The "Light" trim level of the EV5 available in other areas will use rear-wheel drive and a single electric motor producing 215 horsepower.
