Jamie Sarché, known for her TEDx and ELI talks, is dedicated to helping people feel more comfortable with the idea of mortality and treating death as another part of life. She works hard to shift our transform our death-averse society to one that accepts the inevitability of death as another step in our life cycle, though admittedly a painful one. In her DEAD talk at the ICCFA conference in Las Vegas, Jamie discusses how to find your niche and overcome the pain and discomfort of discussing mortality, so that you can approach the prospect of death with confidence and comfort.
As the director of outreach and prearranged funeral planning at Feldman Mortuary in Denver, Colorado, Jamie works hard to hep people to put their plans in place well before they become necessary, so that they can make educated decisions that are not clouded by grief. She serves on the boards of Jewish Family Service, Kavod Senior Living, and the Jewish Community Relations Council.
