Friends, Todays we are going to make south ka famous snack appe recipe. It is made using leftover idli dosa batter. Appe is one of the leftover idli dosa batter recipes. We rae not using eno, curd, baking soda. It’s a healthy and quick snack recipe. We can also have it as a healthy breakfast recipe. We can also make appe without appe pan by deep frying in oil. Appe goes well with white coconut chutney, sambar, tomato coconut chutney, garlic chutney. So, everyone please try the recipe. And drop your valuable comments also.

Ingredients:
For Idli / Dosa Batter :
2 glass idli rice (parboiled rice) or Raw rice
½ glass urad dal (skinless black gram dal)
Tempering :
Oil – 1Tbsp
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp jeera
Few curry chopped or coriander leaves
¼ tsp asafoetida powder ( hing powder)
1 or 2 green chilli chopped
Small piece ginger chopped
1 big onion chopped
½ tsp black pepper powder
Salt as per taste
