The waves of strikes continued to slow down life in the French capital as gas & electricity workers went out for 4 hours Friday as part of the snowballing labour union campaign to force the Gov. to agree to pay increases. At the same time the nation's 20,000 atomic energy workers stopped work for 24 hours after failure to reach agreement with the Gov. on demands entered for arbitration more than 3 months ago.
