My first time with a hitchhiking partner, Heather and I met for the first time in Connecticut after I'd posted online in search for a ride heading west (I was looking to go to Alaska, and eventually would). We got on the road, spending the first night in Cape Cod with a friend, then made our way to the All Good music festival and finally down to New Orleans.
