Kimchi
Kimchi has surpassed the status of a traditional food to become the most recognizable symbol of Korean culture. Every year, mothers all over the countryside of Korea roll up their sleeves to make kimchi to send to their children in the city.

We visit a woman in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon Province, as she makes kimchi. Through the love contained in her kimchi and the sounds of kimchi in its creation process, we glimpse at the sentiments and spirits of Korea.
