The 2019 Winter Field Day just got underway and Faith Hannah (AE4FH) gives a quick tour of the WK1DS set-up. Watch closely for cameo appearances from KM4TXT and KM4IPF!
The temperatures in Central Florida are expected to get down to the low 40’s or high 30’s tonight and that is REALLY COLD for Florida! The kids will be sleeping in the tent and taking turns operating through the night.
This operation is 100% battery with solar. We are using Bioenno Power 30 AH LiFePO4 batteries and a Bioenno Power 120 watt solar Panel.
