The P.I.D. Wayfinding System was designed for the Product and Industrial Design faculty of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. The system was designed and manufactured as a legacy project by third year Product Design students at the P.I.D. faculty.
The wayfinding system provides guidance to people navigating the faculty building, whilst incorporating the faculty's brand identity and embodying the faculty’s attitude and character.
The shown manufacturing process involves CNC routing, resin inlays and 3D printed tiles.
