It's been over a decade since we started offering refurbished and upgraded editions of the distinguished Technics SL1200 and SL1210 turntables. With its high torque, sturdy build and precise pitch control, its has endured as the turntable of choice for DJ’s across the world.
In this time, we’ve learned so much about these iconic machines, and are proud to be able to keep them on the road over 50 years since the original units were first made. We’ve carried out every part swap and fix in the book, as well as offering upgrades from external power supplies to advanced tonearm replacements.
In this video, Ryan details our history with Technics, from the early days collecting decks in his trusty old Volvo, through thousands sold, up to our projects like our beautiful MasterSounds SL, with its custom refinished chassis and upgraded components for increased fidelity including our LinearPOWER supply.
We go behind the scenes of our turntable process and take a look into the service area to showcase the skill, care, and attention to detail that we put into maintaining our stock of turntables. We carry out a full service and calibration, replace any worn or damaged parts, and make sure each one looks and feels it's absolute best.
